MEET OUR PASTOR

Raw, Poetic, & Rooted in scripture—Pastor Keith shares powerful insights on grace, struggle, and the beauty of restoration through prayers, devotions, and short stories.

STEP INTO THEIR WALK. BE ENCOURAGED. FEEL SEEN

Their journey is still unfolding— Everyday, Pastor Keith and Rebecca open their hearts through honest reflections, hard-earned wisdom, and stories of redemption that speak to the Soul.

Keith D. Holloway is a pastor, author, poet, and musician whose life and ministry are a testimony to the boundless grace of God.

For over a decade, Keith wrestled with sin and found himself separated from the faith he once preached. Like the prodigal son in the Bible, he wandered far from his spiritual home, pursuing the fleeting pleasures of the world, only to find himself morally and spiritually bankrupt. Yet, in his brokenness, he encountered the overwhelming love of God, who welcomed him back with open arms and renewed his purpose.

Keith often reflects on his journey through the lens of the prodigal son, recognizing that the same grace extended to him is what he now strives to offer to others. His ministry today is deeply rooted in compassion, mercy, and hope for those who feel lost, hopeless, or unworthy. He sees the beauty in brokenness and dedicates his work to showing others that God’s love is for everyone, no matter how far they’ve strayed.

After returning to Christ, Keith’s ministry entered a new and transformative chapter. With renewed faith and a clear vision, he embraced his second chance to share the messages God had placed on his heart. Whether through sermons, poetry, short stories, or music, Keith’s creations reflect the lessons of redemption, the power of forgiveness, and the hope of restoration.

Now, with an exciting opportunity to expand his reach through social media and online ministry, Keith is finally sharing the treasure trove of writings, songs, and ideas that he has carried with him for years. He is humbled by the opportunity to be a messenger of God’s love on a broader scale, ensuring that The Carpenter’s Shop becomes a beacon of Christ’s light—continuing to touch lives, offer healing, and spread the message of grace.

\Among his many works are stories that reflect on nostalgia and the simpler moments of life, capturing the essence of a time when community, connection, and heartfelt values were plentiful. Keith’s work invites readers to pause, reflect, and find solace in the beauty of both the past and the present, all while being reminded of God’s unfailing love and the promise of new beginnings.

MEET OUR PASTOR'S WIFE

A blend of Faith and Mental Health, Rebecca writes with compassion and truth about healing, boundaries, and walking with God through pain

Rebecca Holloway has been a part of The Carpenter’s Shop Ministries from the very beginning, serving faithfully in both visible and supportive roles.

Raised in a Spirit-filled, non-denominational church, she grew up watching her father, a deeply devoted pastor, build an incredible ministry through his unshakable faith and willingness to follow Christ anywhere. His recent passing has only strengthened her desire to continue that legacy of faith and service.

In her late twenties, Rebecca and Pastor Keith began their journey in 2001 and were married in 2008. During this period, Rebecca began pursuing higher education with an initial interest in Nursing. She faced some unexpected roadblocks to her Nursing interest, but staying the course, she first obtained her Bachelor in Sociology from the University of North Alabama. Soon after completing this milestone, She returned to UNA to obtain her Master’s in Counseling, and has since become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Mental Health Service Provider (MHSP).

Rebecca has always remained a steady presence in the church. From opening their home to welcome like-minded Christian friends, to Keith’s preparing of the lawn mower shop behind their home, then watching the gravel lot behind their house fill to the point they had outgrown their starting place, she remains a devoted wife and servant of the Lord. She handles much of the background work, including preparing Sunday media, organizing special gifts for holidays, and assisting with various church needs as they arise.

Though her role has often been more supportive, she is now stepping into a greater role in the church’s expansion, particularly in outreach efforts and future ministry projects. Her credentials as an LPC and MHSP equip her to prevent, diagnose, and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders through comprehensive care. As The Capenter’s Shop is blessed of the Lord and continues to thrive, Rebecca is poised to leverage her expertise and utilize the wisdom in the importance of spiritual care, ensure a greater reach and broader audience.

Rebecca’s heart for the church and its people is undeniable. As The Carpenter’s Shop continues to grow, she looks forward to being more involved in new initiatives, ensuring that every aspect of the ministry reflects Christ’s love, faithfulness, and the calling placed on this church.
